The Classic Oxford Shirt

The shirt is a regular fit i.e. not a slim fit and not a boxy oversized fit either. We’ve also added a few modern updates to this classic style.

Our favourite is the no-gape technology. Two concealed buttons that help you avoid any gaping at the chest area. 

In keeping with our pared down design philosophy, we’ve gotten rid of the chest pocket. Not very functional for a woman’s shirt, is it? We’ve also gotten rid of the curved hem. This helps the shirt look as good as a layer as it does on its own.

Lastly, you’ll see an adjustable cuff, classic point collarsand a non-sheer fabric so you won’t have to worry about which underwear will work 🙂

100% organic oxford cotton.

The weave of the Oxford fabric gives it both a softness and a delightful texture. The result is a shirt that is structured but not too stiff with a fabric that’s breathable, soft and gets better with age.

The fabric also lends itself to our multi-purpose philosophy. When ironed, it looks fabulous as a formal, work shirt but you can always wear it slightly rumpled for a casual, effortless look. Perfect for brunch and the boardroom.

Our fabric is treated to a softening wash to make sure it feels great against the skin.

Our fabric is completely organic and GOTS certified. GOTS is the leading standard for textiles made from organic fabrics. The cotton we use is organically grown and everyone from the yarn and fabric supplier to the manufacturer are certified.

We’re also on a mission to be plastic neutral. While we’ve started with recycled plastic buttons, we’ll continue looking for more sustainable options that are as durable as these. Everything from the tag to the string are completely plastic free.

Lastly, all treatments and dyes we use are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Nothing harmful for your skin.
